Personal site and employer information

This is my personal portfolio. The views and opinions shared here are my own and do not represent my current or former employers. Company names, product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners.

Projects and case studies are based on my own work, learning, or publicly shareable information. No confidential or proprietary employer information is intentionally published.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is used only if you explicitly choose “Allow Analytics.” Before that choice—or after you disable analytics—the Google Analytics script is not loaded and portfolio events are not sent to Google.

If allowed, Google Analytics may measure aggregate information such as visits, pages viewed, approximate location, browser or device details, and selected portfolio interactions. It may use first-party cookies, including _ga cookies, to distinguish users and sessions. This site disables advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising personalization in its analytics configuration.

Fonts and styling resources

Pages on this site load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and styling code from the Tailwind CSS CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com). These resources are not currently self-hosted.

These requests happen when a page loads, regardless of your analytics choice. They are separate from Google Analytics and are not controlled by the Allow or Disable Analytics buttons. As with any web request, these providers may receive standard request information such as your IP address, browser user agent, and the referring page, depending on your browser’s settings.

Browser and local storage

This site uses your browser’s localStorage only to remember your analytics preference across pages. The key is tyler_portfolio_analytics_consent and its value is either granted or denied. Normal browser caching may also occur when site files are loaded.

GitHub Pages hosting

This static site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub states that a visitor’s IP address is logged and stored for security purposes when a GitHub Pages site is visited, whether or not the visitor is signed in. That processing is handled by GitHub under its own privacy practices.

No sale or targeted advertising

I do not sell personal information collected through this portfolio, and I do not use this site to serve targeted advertising. Analytics is used only to understand aggregate site traffic and portfolio interactions when a visitor allows it.

Children’s privacy

This portfolio is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through accounts or submission forms on this site. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact me.
